valentine's day propaganda, part 2

nope.
this is a commercially hyped-facade of confection hearts & melted chocolate. this playlist took about 2 minutes to make. so either, again, i have a depressing taste in music (check) or there have been reasons for me to listen to these songs in the past (check.)
some of my favorite lyrics:

valentine's music for both camps.

part 1. music for those that are in love, love, magical, happy, skipping-along-the-beach love. this first playlist is for you. the lyrics celebrate all that is pink about love. (ps, of the two parts of this valentine's day coin, the happy one was 476 times more difficult than the "love is crap" playlist. this either says something about my music taste or about something more. let's hope it's the former.)

clearly the author on this side of the computer is experiencing what one might call "a nervous breakdown." i prefer to think of it as "introspective overdrive" or "jingoism." (how's that for a 3am word?)made a mixtape of random, oh-so-random songs that i thought, at this late hour, are perfect for election day. (made on favtape)

i've been shoegazing like a MF. this mixed tape isn't for you top-40 types (& if there are those people out there-you don't read this. crisis averted.) depressing, melancholy-molly music. if you need more cocaine-themed stuff, go here-& no, this is not a link to hell.)

you can listen by going to favtape (which doesn't have every song in the world, and not always the exact ones i wanted...going to try & stop wanting to kill things when i have no control over them. deep breaths. it's either this cognitive training or prison.)

ah, muxtapes. gone forever. such a great idea. i had to find a replacement (though loyalty to the great minds behind muxtapes made it difficult.) i found favtape. listen to the songs, and i know at least one of them will float your boat. hope to update this at least weekly (you know me & the projects). if any of you make online mixed tapes, aka mutt-tapes, post them here so we can all have a little listen.
