nyc, out & about

sadly, i wasn't able to stay in new york for the entire gift show-but below are a few of my booth outfits (which i made myself!) and other bits & bobs. *cheesy smile is just for you!*

the cab ride from the airport. (what you can't see in this picture, how sweaty i am in these jeans-which were appropriate attire for cold-summer-san-francisco...but just served to make me look like i was just at the pool when i arrived at the hotel)

(no comment on what is going on with my hair.)

and in other news...

so first i was wicked sick for a week, and then the white dog did this. the cuteness factor did not help my pain (ok...maybe a little)
*headed to the new york gift show on thursday...so hopefully i'll post all my fabulous outfits (aka the-sweaty-mess-that-will-be-me-in-all-that-east-coast-heat) & gallivanting around the greatness that is manhattan!

leaving on a jet plane

leaving in less than 24 hours for china. this sounds elitist, but i used to go there SO OFTEN, almost every few weeks at my old job. i totally took it for granted. this time, though, i am going for me and my business. much more exciting. & yes, being as this is my fledgling trip-and i am a startup...i will be flying lovely economy. for some reason, though, the excitement of going to my favorite country ever overrides the being-cramped-for-13-hours thing.

going to create amazing things with the leftover fabric scraps saved from my first batch of dog duvets. have so many ideas i am probably not going to sleep until friday. talk to you all soon!!
