diana f+++

for xmas this year, i got a diana f+ camera. it's pure plastic loveliness, needs real film & weighs about 2 ounces. it's fantastic. ps, reader please note, i am an amateur at best with all of the various cameras i have. it's just for fun. makes me happy.

finally picked up my first 2 rolls of film. having to wait to see what your pictures look like is such a novelty these days...(or having to wait for anything-i made the point recently when-for the 8th time in a conversation someone googled for an answer-that there are no more mysteries. no lingering questions. more on this @ a later, more emo date.)

what did E ever do to you?

when did it become fashionable to hate & revile the letter "e"?

it only struck me recently how this letter is gradually disappearing. let me elaborate. leaving out the "e" all together has become trendsetting & fashionable-all the popular kids are doing it. is it a statement against the man? in protest of the concrete pillars of injustice? a stand against convention & tradition?

or, is the new "kill-the-e" campaign a more sinister plot to one-by-one erase all the letters of the english language...leaving us with crude writing utensils & damp cave walls to draw pictures on. we shall see, puppies, we shall see.
